One card for computers, machines and doors
Employees use one card wherever they need to work. You decide which computers, machines and areas they can access.
Central access management
ChipLogin's central management gives you an overview of employees, their cards and permissions. Grant access when they join, adjust when their role changes and revoke it when they leave.
For a standalone computer, you can choose management. Larger deployments use a shared company server that authenticates cards and manages access for connected workstations.
Computers and applications
Employees tap their card to sign in to their own Windows account. They do not have to type a long password every time they return. The same approach works on shared computers used by several people.
For supported applications, ChipLogin fills in the sign-in form. The application and its sign-in method are checked when preparing the deployment.
Machines and their operators
The reader at the machine authenticates the card, and ChipLogin passes the employee's identity and permissions to the control system. The machine's program uses them to enable the relevant functions.
When assigning permissions, you can take qualifications and required training into account. Authentication records help you trace who signed in at the machine.
Buildings, storage areas and other spaces
Decide who may enter the building, materials store or other restricted area. You can issue visitors a card with access to designated locations.
The door access solution records both successful and denied card checks. If a card is lost, disable it and assign the employee a replacement.
Start with a single workstation
We choose the location where card sign-in will bring the greatest benefit. This determines the readers, cards and setup. More computers, machines or doors can follow as your company needs them.
