Access to buildings, storage areas and other spaces
You decide who may enter each area. An employee or visitor presents their card, and the door access system checks their permission.
Where to use door access control
Use at a building entrance, in a materials and spare parts store or in other restricted rooms. Each employee receives access appropriate to their work.
Visitors can be issued a card with access to designated areas. Revoke its access when the visit ends.
What happens when a card is presented
The reader submits the card for authentication. If access is granted, the CL1100 door module operates the lock; if access is denied, it does not release the door.
Both granted and denied checks are recorded. An administrator can trace the use of a particular card and its result.
Change permissions in one place
Access to an area is linked to the employee, their card and the assigned permission groups. Adjust access when their work changes and revoke it when they leave.
Disable a lost card and assign the employee a replacement.
Reader, door module and management
The solution consists of a reader at the door, a CL1100 module in a low-voltage cabinet, and management of people, cards and permissions. The wiring is designed to suit the door and lock being used.
If access does not work
An administrator checks the assigned card, permitted areas and most recent authentication record. This helps determine whether the issue lies with the card, permissions or the rest of the installation.
