The right operator for each machine
ChipLogin helps link machine access to a specific employee, their permissions and the required qualifications.
Identify the employee with a card
Employees present their own card at the machine's reader. ChipLogin authenticates the card and tells the control system who is requesting access.
Permissions for individual tasks
Operators, setup staff and service technicians may need different functions. ChipLogin passes their permissions to the machine, whose program enables the corresponding tasks.
The exact scope of access control is agreed when connecting to the machine.
Consider training and qualifications when granting access
When deciding who may operate a machine, you can take required training and qualifications into account. The configured permissions then reflect who the company has authorised to do that work.
Trace authentication at the machine
The lets you trace card authentication, the employee involved, the time and the result. This helps investigate denied access and review card use.
An authentication record is not a complete history of production operations. To trace machine activity, can be supplemented with data from the machine's control system.
